Interference with Official Acts

 

A person who knowingly resists, obstructs, opposes or impedes anyone known by the person to be an officer in the performance of any act which is within the scope of the officer’s lawful duty or authority, or who knowingly resists, obstructs, opposes or impedes the service or execution by any authorized person of any civil or criminal process or order of any court or administrative agency, commits a simple misdemeanor.
