Craig Wise, acting Conservation Director, requested a transfer of leftover funds in his budget be transferred into the LAD account. This is a transfer that is done every year. Due to the resignation of the former Director, this was not done at the end of Fiscal Year 20 as it normally is. The amount he is requesting is $166,000. It is a large amount due to some lake restoration projects not able to be done in that fiscal year due to the derecho storm and the Director’s resignation but should be able to be done next fiscal year. He would like this to be acknowledged as of July 2020. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Faircloth to approve the following resolution to transfer funds:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Tama County Board of Supervisors approves the transfer of $166,000 from the General Basic Fund (0001) to the Land Acquisition and Development Fund (LAD) (0027) as requested by the Tama County Conservation Board. This is an annual transfer that should have been done in July 2020 and effective as of then also.
