Board of Supervisors Minutes
October 31, 2016

The Tama County Board of Supervisors met at 9:30 a.m. October 31, 2016.  Present:  1st District Supervisor, Larry Vest; 2nd District Supervisor, Kendall Jordan and 3rd District Supervisor, Dan Anderson.

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Vest to approve the minutes of the October 24th regular meeting.   All voted aye.  Motion carried. 

The Board met with Lyle Brehm, Tama County Engineer, to get a road projects report.

Motion by Vest, seconded by Anderson to approve the Recorder’s Quarterly Report.  All voted aye.  Motion carried. 

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Vest to approve the Auditor’s Quarterly Report.  All voted aye.  Motion carried. 

The Board has been made aware of an old checking account at the Toledo State Bank.  It was designated for Critical Incident Stress Debriefing for the Sheriff’s office.  It has not been used for several years and has a balance of $313.00.  The Sheriff would like to close the account and put it in his forfeiture account at the bank.  Motion by Vest, seconded Anderson to authorize Sheriff Dennis Kucera on the account and allow him to close it and put the funds in his forfeiture account at the bank.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

The Board met with Terry Johnson, Genesis, to get an update on the residents they serve in Tama County.

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Vest to approve the claims for payment as presented.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

Chairman Jordan adjourned the meeting at 10:04 a.m.
